Prototyping • Test Systems • Carbon Capture

Turning first-of-a-kind ideas into reliable, instrumented hardware.

I lead cross-functional prototype builds and automated test benches that unblock R&D and accelerate go-to-hardware— from DAC sorbent rigs to pressure-drop fixtures, thermal uniformity systems, and high-throughput data pipelines.

About Me

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I'm passionate about how we can reduce our impact on our beautiful and fragile world.

If I'm not working on climate hardware, I'm outside in nature where I feel most inspired.

Selected Work

A few projects that show how I de-risk builds, create repeatable data, and move programs from concept to confidence.

Thermal-Uniformity Joule-Heating Bench

Built a vertical test rig with three thermal cameras at 120° and a Python UI acting as the PID brain to heat sorbents to set-point, log frames to Postgres, and auto-stitch temperature maps.

Result Cut test time from ~30–40 min/unit to ~5–10 min and freed engineers from babysitting—unblocked throughput for ~1,000 parts.

Pressure-Drop Fixture (500 SLPM)

Designed a clamp fixture with load-cell readout for consistent sealing, drove an MFC and differential pressure transmitter from a Raspberry Pi, and logged temp/RH for correlations.

Result High-throughput, reproducible ∆P across monoliths; calibration via known-ID/length pipe model and cross-lab validation.

Modulita Build Leadership

Ran daily stand-ups across Controls, Process, Mechanical, and Electrical; sequenced build schedule, surfaced blockers & at-risk items, and issued crisp status to leadership.

Result Hit aggressive three-week build target, de-risked critical path, and kept teams unblocked.

Fabrication Shop from Zero → Productive

Scoped requirements across teams, laid out a 2,000 sq-ft space in CAD, sourced key tools (mills, saws, waterjet/laser access), and built procedures + training for rapid iteration.

Result In-house capability turned multi-week waits into same-day parts; velocity without chaos.
